Family practice teams, and hauora providers may be busy during the winter months. Be sure to get in touch early if there is anything you need including:
- Regular prescription medicines
- Flu vaccine, and COVID-19 Booster, if you are eligible
- RATs and masks
- Basics you may need, like paracetamol and first aid supplies.

Need help accessing a GP?
Tautoko Hauora is a new service in the Waitaha Cantebrury region here to help those who aren’t enrolled in a general practice or aren’t getting the care they need. Our caring Kaitautoko (support workers), are here to assist you in accessing primary healthcare and social services in our community.
Our Kaitautoko work with diverse groups like Māori, Pasifika, CALD, Youth, Rainbow, low-income individuals, and those with disabilities. If you’re already with a Pegasus general practice or open to joining, we’re here to lend a helping hand.
